As someone with an amputation, I required assistance with bathroom modifications to provide myself with more autonomy. I previously hired a handyman who illegally installed a noncompliant bidet in my bathroom. Not only did it fail to work correctly, but it placed my health at a real risk due to its ability to contaminate my fresh drinking water supply. NDIS Connect Services helped me connect with a licensed plumber who was able to decommissioned the faulty bidet and installed a brand-new product that complied with Australian standards, plumbing regulations, and included a high hazard backflow protection. This ensured I was able to use the bathroom independently and safely.
